Amarjah's Musing -Myth, Mysticism & Meaning
Freedom, Liberation, Moksha
Moksha![]() |
In Indian religions, Moksha (Sanskrit: मोक्ष mokṣa) or Mukti (Sanskrit: मुक्ति), literally "release" (both from a root muc "to let loose, let go"), is the liberation from samsara, the cycle of repeated death and rebirth (reincarnation). Moksha is the attainment of full realization of the absolute.
In Hinduism, atma-jnana (self-realization) through Yoga --- Bhakti, Karma, Jnana, Raja, brings the knowing of an unlimited god existing in many different forms, both personal and impersonal. One god, many faces.
Yoga![]() |
There are four Yogas (disciplines) or margas (paths) for the attainment of Moksha. These are: divine works(Karma Yoga), knowledge ofthe Supreme (Jnana Yoga), contemplation of the Supreme (Raja Yoga) and devotion (Bhakti Yoga). Different schools of Hinduism place varying emphasis on one path or other, some of the most famous being the tantric and yogic practices developed in Hinduism.
Today, the practice boasts 20 million followers - expanding from the drugless high followers in the 1960's to the more modern stress reduction and gentle exercise for the baby boomers. If you are lucky, you will find a true practitioner who brings the spiritual realization to the practice. Namasté.
Never underestimate to the power of what a few conscious people can do to change the world. ~ Margaret Mead

Isn't it time for you to find enlightenment?
Many circle the mountain examining the various paths without ever making the climb. We offer seminars, consultations, and support networks in the spiritual quest for awakening. We are not affiliated with organized religions as the truth is the same when viewed from the mountain summit regardless of the path to reach it.
The evolution of consciousness has brought us here - to remind of us of who we are and our purpose here. We are seekers who embrace skepticism, acceptance and the strength in unity. We are greater than the sum of the parts in a greater spiritual work.![]()
