A total solar eclipse is a natural phenomenon, however, they have often been attributed to supernatural causes or regarded as bad omens. The Sun seems to disappear during the day and the sky darkens in a matter of minutes.

This New Moon is also a Solar Eclipse, usually indicating a loss of leadership or a weakening of the will. This is a time for letting go; the drive to push ahead and advance our interests has arrived. Letting go is a process of acceptance and forgiveness that allows us to step forward instead of turning back with a sense of failure.
