PAIN & SUFFERING

PAIN

STIMULATES CHANGE

Pain stimulates change - GC

The world is full of suffering is the first of Buddhism's four noble truths. The cause of suffering is desire. The way to end suffering is to end desire. The eight fold path is the way to do this.

There is a reason for pain - there is something wrong in the system and we must change to alleviate the pain. For many of us, the pain we carry is not in the physical and easily seen. Our emotions, thoughts, and lack of connection may lead us to states of illness as well.

Human nature is "to not fix it if it aint broke." Consequently few of us seek new frontiers if we are doing well. Pain is a stimulas to fix something - to seek help, knowledge, or solace. Endurance, patience, acceptance are among its gifts.

When you are in pain, remember that the crack is where the light gets in.

When you are walking through hell, keep on truckin'. Namaste.

Amarjah Wisdom School

Many circle the mountain examining the various paths without ever making the climb. We offer seminars, consultations, and support networks in the spiritual quest for awakening. We are not affiliated with organized religions as the truth is the same when viewed from the mountain summit regardless of the path to reach it.

The evolution of consciousness has brought us here - to remind of us of who we are and our purpose here. We are seekers who embrace skepticism, acceptance and the strength in unity. We are greater than the sum of the parts in a greater spiritual work.divider
